Steven Quaintance

Steven Quaintance co-founded Civic-Shield to bring real-world expertise to organizations facing today’s growing security threats. With over 15 years in public safety, law enforcement, and corporate security —including roles as a homicide detective, tactical operator, and high-level government security official —Steven has led high-pressure security operations at every level.

He later transitioned into the private sector, serving as Senior Manager of Security Operations for a global hospitality technology firm. There, he developed multi-site safety programs across North America and Mexico, with a focus on access control, incident response, and crisis readiness. Today, he supports physical security and federal compliance (CMMC, NIST 800-171) at manufacturing sites across the U.S. for a global Fortune 500 company.

Steven launched Civic-Shield to help bridge the gap between policy and practice—delivering customized training, planning, and assessment services for businesses, schools, government entities, and critical infrastructure operators.
